I am a school psychologist intern in Cabarrus County Schools. I will graduate in May 2025 with a Masters and Advanced Certificate in School Psychology from The University at Buffalo. I have a special interest in mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy techniques, helping students understand themselves/their feelings, and discovering effective coping mechanisms for individual student needs. As a graduate student, I worked on a yoga study that took place with middle school girls and focused on body positivity, mindfulness, and understanding yourself. I also volunteer at a women's empowerment camp over the summer for girls 12-18 years old. I love connecting with students and running counseling groups! I am originally from Buffalo, NY, attended college at Michigan State University, returned to Buffalo for graduate school, and now I am here in Charlotte and super excited about what is ahead! In my free time, I love to spend time with my dog, travel with friends and family, watch the Buffalo Bills, and spend time outdoors!
