Please follow the link to Parent Square and submit your attendance reason to our Data Manager Joanne Stammen at joanne.stammen@cabarrus.k12.nc.us

Absences due to medical, dental, death, court or administrative proceedings or religious observance must have a note for the event attached to the Parent Square message.

A request for Educational Opportunity must be placed at least 5 days in advance of the absences using the K-12 Educational Opportunity Form and approved or denied by the principal. Please contact Joanne Stammen for a copy of this form via Parent Square at the email address above.

Per SASA policy only two excused absences for Religious Observance will be approved each academic year.

All submitted reasons will be reviewed based on the State of North Carolina (SASA) School Attendance and Student Accounting Manual to determine if the absence will be excused.
